Frank Siringo

Dr. Siringo completed undergraduate studies and received a Doctor of Optometry from SUNY (State University of New York) in Geneseo and New York City respectively culminating in 2001.

Dr. Siringo served as Chief of Optometry for the U.S. Army at both Bennet Army Health Clinic in Ft. Hood Texas, and with the 4th Infantry Division, Tikrit, Iraq before returning stateside to work as an associate optometrist in the civilian sector and open a private practice, Siringo Optometry Associates, with his wife (also an Optometrist) in New York, NY while concurrently completing Medical School at NYU. Upon receipt of his Medical Doctorate, Dr. Siringo completed postgraduate medical education through his Ophthalmology Residency in New York concluding with a Columbia University affiliate in 2013. Thereafter, he entered the Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery Fellowship with the University of Colorado. Dr. Siringo has remained with the University of Colorado since that time maintaining Hospital Staff Privileges at 5 major facilities and he is presently an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology with the institution as well, having trained many successful residents and retina fellows. Dr. Siringo is the recipient of numerous honors and awards, has held editorial and administrative responsibilities, and offered a significant volume and range of research activities, publications, book chapters, abstracts, presentations and invited lectures while managing a high volume clinical and surgical retina service. He’s looking forward to focusing specifically on high-quality patient care with such a well-regarded multi-specialty referral practice like Omni!
