Comanagement means teamwork.

Comanagement is a cooperative effort between other physicians, optometry and ophthalmology to provide excellence in eye care while optimizing patient services and convenience.

Your local eye doctor provides primary eye care which includes annual exams, glasses, contact lenses and the diagnosis and treatment of eye disease. If you have a special problem or require surgery, your local doctor or general physician might refer you to Omni.

Omni Eye Specialists provides secondary and tertiary eye care at the request of your local eye doctor. Secondary care involves further testing and management of difficult eye conditions while tertiary care often involves advanced surgery.

Often patients referred to us require continuing follow-up care. We will schedule most exams with your local Doctor of Optometry but we may also recommend evaluations with us from time to time. This coordinated effort ensures that you receive the highest quality care in the most convenient manner while minimizing your travel time.
